Advanced Canvas x Porsche Motorsport: Live Art at the 24h Race in Le Mans

Throwback to June 2024:

The 24 Hours of Le Mans became an unforgettable experience for us. Not just because we witnessed one of the world’s most iconic motorsport events – but because we also became an active part of it.

Even before the race, we collaborated with Porsche Motorsport on a very special project: a limited series of Porsche 963 LMDH sculptures. These exclusive pieces were presented to selected Porsche VIPs as a token of appreciation and connection to the brand – even before the race began.

Le Mans. Just the name alone makes motorsport fans' hearts race worldwide. And right here – at the legendary racetrack – another unique art project was created during this year's 24-hour race: the Porsche 963 Le Mans Special Edition 2024.

In a fascinating combination of speed, technology, and art, we created a limited series of 24 handcrafted Porsche 963 LMDH sculptures. Half of these artworks were created live on-site – right in the midst of the 24-hour race action. Invited by Porsche Motorsport, Alex and Pierre worked directly in the Porsche Experience Center Le Mans, surrounded by the buzz of the event and the many visitors.

Each piece was individually refined and adorned with racing-inspired graphics and colors.

The remaining sculptures of the total 24 were completed with the same precision and passion back in our workshop.

For our entire team, this project was an emotional journey. To work in a place so deeply rooted in motorsport history was a true privilege. The energy, excitement, and atmosphere of the race are reflected in each artwork.

After the event, the limited special edition of the 24 Porsche 963 sculptures was given to a very special audience: the Porsche Carrera GT Club. These exclusive works of art found their way to true Porsche enthusiasts and collectors, who appreciate not only the brand but also the art behind it.
