In August 2023, we set out on a very special adventure:
Coal Control – the ninth edition of Onassis Porsche Event, this time under the motto “Into the Coal Mine.”
The setting was nothing short of extraordinary: the CreativRevier Heinrich Robert in Hamm – once a major hub of coal mining where more than 5,000 miners worked underground. Today, the site served as a stunning stage for the Onassis event, with over 400 Porsche models becoming part of a captivating backdrop. The former industrial grounds were transformed into a celebration of automotive passion.
We were proud not only to be part of it but also to contribute something unique: an exclusive, limited special edition of our 10” sculptures.
Each piece handcrafted, individually painted, or refined with real gold leaf – every sculpture a true one-off.
Even better: all proceeds from the sale of these miniatures were donated to a charitable cause.
Meanwhile, Alex and Pierre created another highlight live on-site: completing a stunning Martini livery on a Porsche 964 turbo sculpture. True craftsmanship in action – and a perfect tribute to Porsche’s legendary motorsport heritage.
Sunshine, inspiring conversations, a breathtaking location, and hundreds of Porsche icons made this event unforgettable.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Coal Control 2023 such a memorable day – we’re already looking forward to the next festival!
